Outfit of the Day: January 12th

Hey Everyone! :)
So today's inspiration calendar called for a wrap dress....which I do not have! So just like the sweater the other day, I just wore one of my favorite dresses!!
tank: Gap, $3.49 (I got a ton of these on black friday!)
Dress: Walmart, $5.00
Tights: Walmart, $6.00
Boots: Torrid, $62.00
Necklace: Charming Charlie, $4.98
Bangles: all mixed and matched, so who knows where they are all from! lol
Watch: Family Heirloom :)

here is a photo of my makeup for the day:

I used the E.L.F. eyeshadow quad in pretty in pink, just the white and the dark purple/pink color! So simple! Eyeliner is Revlon colorstay in black/brown and the mascara is Rimmel Glam Eyes (LOVE!!) Blush is Rimmel Plum and Im just wearing chapstick on my lips! The weather is SOOO cold and windy here, I have gone through a whole tube in the past 2 weeks!! INSANE! :)

Ourfit of the Day: January 9th

Our shopping trip was successful!!!! No breakdowns, no tears, no tantrums, no "I want this NOW!!!"....just an awesome time for a mom and a daughter to bond over clothes! lol

Here is what I wore while shopping with "L":
Zebra Cardi: Goodwill, $4.99
Black ruffle tank: Goodwill, $3.99
Black Jeans: Old Navy, $6.00
Shoes: Target, $3.74
Necklace: Charming Charlie, $2.00
Bow Headband: Forever 21, $1.50 for a 2 pack
Watch: Vintage, it was my grandfathers! :)

And when we got home, L decided she wanted a new hair cut, so I was happy to oblidge (she was looking a little raggamuffin for my taste)
She wanted a sleek bob with thick straight bangs...AKA the girl version of a bowl cut! LOL So I cut it straight then added in some layers, thinned it out a little on the sides and gave her textured bangs that flow well! :)
Here is her before and after:

I hope everyone is having an excellent weekend! See ya tomorrow :)

Outfit of the Day: January 4th and 5th

so, I am trying to follow along with Kimberly's Inspiration Calendar
so, on Monday, the inspiration was "Can't go wrong with a Cardi"
here is my interpretation:

what I am wearing:
Mini dress/tunic thing: Goodwill, $3.99 (its from Old Navy originally)
Cardi: Goodwill, $4.99
Jeans: Old Navy black Friday sale, $15.00
Boots: Torrid, $62.00
Necklace: gift from my mom (she got it from an Indian reservation in Arizona!!)

and on Tuesday, the inspiration was "Black and Hot Pink"
here is my interpretation:

what I am wearing:
black t-shirt: Target, $4.99
pink cardi: Old Navy, $2.99
Jeans: Old Navy black Friday sale, $15.00
Boots: EBay, $12.20 w/shipping
Necklace: hand me down from my sister
Bow headband: Forever 21, $1.99 for a 2 pack

Outfit of the Day: November 22, 2009

I wore this 2 days after Miss.L's birthday to Church! :)
I LOVE this dress and had a blast wearing my new boots!! Check out the story below on them!!! LOL

What I am wearing:
Brown tank: Target, $3.74
Dress: Target, $6.47
Leggings: Walmart, $6.00
Cardi: Goodwill, $4.99
Boots: Torrid, $62.00
Necklace: Hannah D's, like $2.00 or something crazy cheap!
Bracelets: same as necklace!

Ok, so the story on the boots! I bought a pair of jeans a while back from Torrid, desperate for some jeans that would fit my body and stay fitted to my body! I bought a pair for $59.00, took them home and they were SO freaking uncomfortable, I can't even tell you. So I took them back, but I had already removed the tags, so they gave me store credit.
Well, I could never find anything I wanted to wear there, so I bought a pair of ankle boots. Took them home, tried them on in my living room for about 10 minutes and my feet were throbbing! I was starting to think I had REALLY bad luck when it came to buying stuff at Torrid! So I went back and saw they had these awesome boots and I was eyeing a pair of cowboy boots online, so I got these and I LOVE THEM!! They fit well and look awesome! So YAY! :) Success at Torrid, and I only had to pay like $3.00 for them after my store credit! hehe
