Outfit of the Day: January 4th and 5th

so, I am trying to follow along with Kimberly's Inspiration Calendar
so, on Monday, the inspiration was "Can't go wrong with a Cardi"
here is my interpretation:

Look of the Day: December 20th

Went to church today and had a BEAUTIFUL service! :)

I used a new palette that I will have a video on very soon with my Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero and covergirl lashblast mascara for the eyes. On the cheeks I have Rimmel Spice Nude (I think thats the name! lol) and the lips is Revlon cream gloss in Nude.

Off to church this morning and then out to lunch with the family! So I wanted to be comfy....and wear my super cute new boots!

Jeans: Lane Bryant (I found these in a drawer this morning, have NO idea how they got there or when I bought them! lol)

Bag: I actually bought this forever ago, gave it to my sister when I didnt want it, then she didnt want it anymore either and gave it back! LOL I think I got it at Target, but I can't remember! {It's a bad day for prices on the bargainista! hehe}
Headband: I actually made this and I am considering selling them on etsy...what do you think? (detail pic below!)

Outfit of the Day: November 22, 2009

I wore this 2 days after Miss.L's birthday to Church! :)
I LOVE this dress and had a blast wearing my new boots!! Check out the story below on them!!! LOL

Ok, so the story on the boots! I bought a pair of jeans a while back from Torrid, desperate for some jeans that would fit my body and stay fitted to my body! I bought a pair for $59.00, took them home and they were SO freaking uncomfortable, I can't even tell you. So I took them back, but I had already removed the tags, so they gave me store credit.
Well, I could never find anything I wanted to wear there, so I bought a pair of ankle boots. Took them home, tried them on in my living room for about 10 minutes and my feet were throbbing! I was starting to think I had REALLY bad luck when it came to buying stuff at Torrid! So I went back and saw they had these awesome boots and I was eyeing a pair of cowboy boots online, so I got these and I LOVE THEM!! They fit well and look awesome! So YAY! :) Success at Torrid, and I only had to pay like $3.00 for them after my store credit! hehe

A few outfits......

Hey Everyone!! I am SOOO sorry I have been so absent! As some of you may know, I started a new job a couple of weeks ago and I am trying to get into a new groove, and so far, I have not had time when the lighting is good to film the rest of my series we are working on, BUT, I am going to try really hard to get one filmed this weekend!!

ALSO...this is VERY EXCITING news!! I just started my own Mary Kay Business...however, I wont be pedaling the products all over the place here, so don't worry. I might add them in here and there, but I wont bombard you all!! :) But, if you need anything, feel free to let me know! hehe {sorry, had to get a little shameless self promotion in there}

I also had a photo shoot on Sunday, I was the photographer for three very special ladies who are graduating from UT in 5 weeks!! One of them happens to be my lovely sister! LOVE YA BRITT!! :) So I had to be comfortable.

Adding in some Summer Color

Since its so blazing hot here right now, I have been trying to incorporate some summer color into my wardrobe without adding too much layering and heat! lol So I thought I would try a couple of summer tops together with a fun necklace made of shells and my jeans, rolled up! MUCH BETTER!! :)

{Marriage Seminar}

Last night I went to a marriage seminar at my Church. No, I'm not married, and no I am not getting married any time soon, at least not that I know of lol, but I want to know as much about marriage as possible before I get into one. This amazing couple came to speak about resolving conflict in a marriage and other things related to that....anyway....TOTALLY NOT the point of this post!

Catching up from the Week!

Hey everyone! I am so sorry I took a brief break from blogging so I could focus on my work, but now I have a moment to share my outfits from this week. I went to Bible study Friday, Church Sunday, and to get my hair cut on Monday! I have my photo for friday, but its on my other camera and the battery died so I have to go get some new ones before I can upload it! :(

But I will have two posts, one with my outfit from Sunday and one from Monday! :)

Here is my look for Church on Sunday. I was hoping to channel spring so it will warm up here...it worked! It was almost 80 today! :)
