Im so excited! I can't wait to learn how to style it different ways! I love having bangs again and tons of layers...this should be fun!!

Today we also went out for sushi for my BIL's b-day..an awesome day all in all!

Hey Everyone! So, today was like my Friday because I have tomorrow off!! Whoo Hoo!! (except I have to go to the doctor...boooo! lol)
But the inspiration calendar called for "Shades of Gray"! LOVE IT! I actually chose my outfit in about 45 seconds this morning because I was running late and I forgot to pick it out the night before!

Hey Everyone! So the inspiration calendar today was a little challenging for me....a skirt with a hoodie! Well, I only own like 1 hoodie worth wearing outside of the house which has short sleeves (and its really cold! lol) and I only own like 4 skirts, because I just dont like them that much. BUT...I did manage to put together something...so here it is! :)

I love the weekend....I am taking my daughter "L" shopping for new clothes this weekend! The girl doesnt fit in ANYTHING she owns!! LOL! Wish me luck!!!!! hehehe (taking an 8 year old shopping for a whole day is never really a great idea....Im not quite sure what I am thinking!! hehe)

Today, the inspiration calendar called for a wrap sweater and jeans. Well I don't have a wrap sweater, so I just threw on a regular sweater! (and sure glad I did! It was in the low 20's today which is REALLY cold for Austin!!)

Look of the Day: December 6th : UT Grads then Football fever! OOTD

So, yesterday, my sister, Brittany, graduated with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood education with Honors from the University of Texas!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooo proud of her! :)
So I got to wear two outfits yesterday, one for the graduation itself and one for the party we had after.

Sunday Inspiration

Sunday's look was really easy to put together. I love the combo of grey and purple, and I had just found this grey cardi at Goodwill last week, throw on a purple top, and your set to go! :)

Craft shopping and Gatti Town

Yes, we did a little bit of craft shopping this evening at Hobby Lobby, my favorite place on earth besides church! lol Also, my mom and her hubby treated me and Miss.L to Gatti Town...L's favorite place on earth! (I think she just might choose it over church! lol)

I also noticed, I have been a little on the black, white, grey side the last three days...this summer heat is getting to my head and I forget to wear color! LOL Oh well...on to the photo!

Bump it up!

So for church today I decided that I wanted to do my hair a certain way using my bumpits. (if you don't know what a bumpit is, you can search it on google. They are little plastic things you stick in your hair to help keep the volume without having to do a ton of teasing)
I have had these for a long time, but I never take the time to play around with them. And since my hair is finally getting long enough to do something with it, I decided to use two of them, the small one in my bangs and a regular size in the second bump, to give some funky volume a la modern day Audrey Hepburn! :)

A sweater in 106....really?

So it was 106 degrees on Sunday, but I wore a sweater! lol Yeah, Im crazy! But I got a super awesome deal on it at Target a few weeks back, and I actually forgot about it until my mom found it in the closet! So Ijust had to wear it....it wasn't too bad! :)
