I just got am email from one of my graphic design client's best friend. She told me the unfortunate news that Katherine had passed on and is now with the Lord. Katherine was a wonderful person to work with and a real pillar in the house of the Lord.

I just recently found out that she was expecting and has a 1 year old at home as well.

I hope you are all well! I am posting so late tonight because my little one is sick, and I am really behind in my work! So I have been trying to focus on that! But, I didn't want to leave you all hanging, because I love you! The inspiration calendar today called for combo of pants and navy. Well, I dont have navy pants, so I mixed pants with a navy top! hehe So here is my outfit for today!

Hey Everyone! So the inspiration calendar today was a little challenging for me....a skirt with a hoodie! Well, I only own like 1 hoodie worth wearing outside of the house which has short sleeves (and its really cold! lol) and I only own like 4 skirts, because I just dont like them that much. BUT...I did manage to put together something...so here it is! :)

I used the E.L.F. eyeshadow quad in pretty in pink, just the white and the dark purple/pink color! So simple! Eyeliner is Revlon colorstay in black/brown and the mascara is Rimmel Glam Eyes (LOVE!!) Blush is Rimmel Plum and Im just wearing chapstick on my lips! The weather is SOOO cold and windy here, I have gone through a whole tube in the past 2 weeks!! INSANE! :)

Ourfit of the Day: January 9th

Our shopping trip was successful!!!! No breakdowns, no tears, no tantrums, no "I want this NOW!!!"....just an awesome time for a mom and a daughter to bond over clothes! lol

She wanted a sleek bob with thick straight bangs...AKA the girl version of a bowl cut! LOL So I cut it straight then added in some layers, thinned it out a little on the sides and gave her textured bangs that flow well! :)

I love the weekend....I am taking my daughter "L" shopping for new clothes this weekend! The girl doesnt fit in ANYTHING she owns!! LOL! Wish me luck!!!!! hehehe (taking an 8 year old shopping for a whole day is never really a great idea....Im not quite sure what I am thinking!! hehe)
