So it was 106 degrees on Sunday, but I wore a sweater! lol Yeah, Im crazy! But I got a super awesome deal on it at Target a few weeks back, and I actually forgot about it until my mom found it in the closet! So Ijust had to wear it....it wasn't too bad! :)

I had a lunch date with some of my girlfriends and my sister on Friday! It was really fun! My friend Sara is getting married so we were all chatting wedding stuff....wow! Do NOT get 4 girls in a Panera on a Friday afternoon chatting about weddings...you will be there until Dinner! LOL But I had a wonderful time. Even though I was dressed like it was 40 outside, and it was 107!!!!! Yep...its officially summer in Texas!

I love working in a creative job where I can pretty much wear whatever I want during the day, but sometimes, duty calls and you have to get in a suit! I fell in love with this color from Ulta! Its like the perfect summer color!
Today's color is: UTLA brand nail lacquer in Sunny Peach
this is 2 coats of color on my nails today. It's really beautiful and rich, not very streaky and glides on really nice! I have been happy with the formula of ULTA's nail colors, so I would really recommend them!
This was my casual outfit for church on sunday! :) what I am wearing today: Cardigan: Target $3.74 clearance tank top: Old Navy $2.00 clearance Jeans: Old Navy $6.99 clearance Shoes: Target $3.74 clearance Necklace: Charming Charlie $7.99 (got this on my girls night out party!)
So for today's outfit, I took some inspiration from Kimberly at fabfindsunder50! She always looks so chic with her belt over her cardigan...however, I found out, I have not quite lost enough weight on my hips for this look, but I gave it a try! lol
what I am wearing today: cardigan: Goodwill $4.99 Brown Top: Old Navy $5.00 clearance Capris: Old Navy $4.99 clearance Belt: Target new stock via Goodwill $3.99 Shoes: Target $3.74 Bracelets: Khols $2.99 Necklace: Im not sure where I got this one, but I love it! lol Bag: Charmind Charlie's $29.99
Oh, and a little story about my shoes....you wont ever see them here again! The BROKE when I was wearing them! I was walking down the street to get back to my car and the strap broke competley away from my shoe! I was SO sad! :(
Let's just start this with....I H-A-T-E Razors! I despise them in fact....loath them even. We just don't have a healthy relationship with each other! I always get terrible razor burn, no matter which razor or shaving cream/gel I use. I get those terrible little bumps everywhere, ingrown hairs, you name it! So I am always on the lookout for an alternative for removing the hair on my legs. And with the summer being so blistering hot here, Capri's, Shorts, and Dresses are ESSENTIAL...so smooth legs are also essential!
When I was at the store, I saw this depilatory cream from Sally Hansen called Spray on Shower off. I thought the concept sounded nice, not so much the $7.00 price tag, but I picked it up anyway.
The way you use it is by shaking it up and spraying it onto your legs....DON'T RUB IT IN!! I love this step! It comes out like a spray paint for your legs.........very interesting.
Then you leave it on for 3 minutes (no longer than 10 minutes for stubborn hair) and then shower it off.
Believe it or not....IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I am IN LOVE with this stuff! I left it on for 5 minutes while I was getting the water hot and brushing out my hair, and my legs were silky smooth...no razor burn, no bumps, just smooth legs!
So pick up a can at your next trip to the store. The formula comes in regular, sensitive, and extra strength for stubborn hair (the one I got).
I L-O-V-E Purple....its my second favorite color next to green! So this outfit is very fun for me! I went bra shopping today, which, ladies, you know its the most hellish shopping experience a woman can have! I absolutely LOATH bra shopping! But, I purchased one that brings the girls back where they belong, and all is happy again in the land! :)
What I wore today: Dress: Ross $14.99 Purple Tank: Old Navy $3.00 Footless tights: Target new stock at Goodwill $1.99 Necklace: Chraming Charlies originally $4.95 (I got this on my girls night out so it was like $1.50 after my discounts. The set also had a bracelet and earrings with it that match!)
Also, check out my hair today....
you might have noticed in my last few videos I have been wearing it in this style. Well, I watched a video tutorial from Blair of JuicyStar07 on YouTube on how to curl hair that doesn't curl. And it worked PERFECT! Thank you Blair. This is now my new hair style for the summer!! Check out the video here:
However, the products I used on my hair were: Suave Curl enhancing spray gel White Rain Maximum hold hairspray Sammi Volumizing Mousse for my roots Same result.....SUPER CHEAP!!!!
I decided to do french nails today! I also filed my nails rather square for this look, so I lost some of my length....no biggie! It will come back! :)
I used N.Y.C. French Manicure in Love Letters for the pink and Wet n' Wild's French White Creme for the white tips. I just free handed the tips, so they are a little messy, but I think it will be alright for a couple of days! :)
The N.Y.C. retail for $.99 (if you have an HEB near you, pop in because they have a coupon for $1.00 off two NYC products so you get two polishes for $.99!)
The Wet N Wild Polishes retail for $.99 at most stores, some of them are $1.79
P.S!!! This pink color is a little streaky and REALLY clear, this is FIVE, yep 5, coats of it on my nails to get the pink color!!! But the white is just one coat! :)
I got asked to show the outfit I was wearing in my last NYX haul video and I forgot that I took a photo of it! So here is a pic of what I was wearing...

So I am not usually into nail polish, but lately I have seen some beautiful colors at the store that I just had to buy some.........but you know me! I'm CHEAP! So this Bargainista decided to try out some cheap polish and let you know what I thought!
So below you will see the two that I used. The purple undercoat is Purple Pizzazz Frost from N.Y.C. and the top coat with the chunky glitter is Starry Silver Glitter, also from N.Y.C.
These polishes retail for $0.99 at most drugstores/super markets. So not bad for $2! **side note, I let my daughter choose these colors and I think she did a great job! I did her nails just like mine this morning, so we are nail twins now! :)
Gosh, I LOVE having the end of the week off! Its nice to shop with out a ton of people around! lol AND......I FINALLY got a maxi dress! I love these knit dresses because they are WAY more comfortable than jeans and a t-shirt, take less thought, and they look more pulled together! They are like fashion all stars!
So here is what I wore today to go shopping with mom and my daughter! Maxi Dress: Ross $12.99 Cardigan: Old Navy $9.99 clearance Flip Flops: Old Navy....like 10 years ago! Have no idea how much they were :) Necklace: Target $1 bin Belt: Target $3.74 clearance Ring: Charming Charlies $4.95 Bracelet 1: Claires $1 clearance Bracelet 2: Claires $1 clearance Giraffe Bag: Charming Charlies $29.99 (this is my moms, so I was just borrowing it for the day! lol)
**Side note, I got my NYX hauls taped today, so I should have them up this weekend!!
